To add a recording device in NVMS-1000 for Windows, you need to go to the "Device" tab and click on "Add DVR/NVR". Then you need to fill out the device information and click on "Add". Once the device is added, you will be able to view playbacks along with the live preview. If you are still having trouble adding the device, you can refer to the NVMS-1000 user manual or contact technical support.
To get a node back online on the NVMS-1000 program, you can try restarting the program, rebooting the node, checking network connections, or contacting technical support for further assistance.
The above is the error message I am now getting. I am not real tech savvy but have looked for a solution to no availability. Can you please give me some guidance?

I manage a surveillance system myself and had the same issue while playing a video. However, I noticed that when I play a video that was recently recorded (1-2 hours) it refuses to play. If it's possible, switch the player and then try to play the videos. I know that this also happens when the software didn't embed the headers into the file, and even the built-in player doesn't know how to play them. Just wait a little longer and then play the video.
If it's possible, re-download and install the NVMS-1000 application once again as this could be a bug as well.
The downloaded file for NVMS 1000 comes as a .rar file. I do not know what software is needed to install it

Your program file is archived in .rar format, so you will need a simple archive manager like WinRAR or 7-Zip to unpack it. Then you can run *exe file of NVMS 1000.
I am using a 24 channel AHD Hybrid DVR with H.264 NVR software. It seems to be working correctly. The default setup for this DVR uses a default IP address 192.168.1.77, a HTTP port of 80 and a server port of 6036. I port forwarded these on my modem.
When I tried to use these parameters on NVMS-1000, the cameras would not come up. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Make sure that when you forward the ports to enable Both connection methods meaning you should have TCP and UDP enabled. Secondly, disable the Firewall because if unknown packets are requested through the IP, the Firewall on the modem might block them.
On your router/modem, it should look like this:
Remote host: EMPTY Local IP: 192.168.1.77 Connection: TCP/UDP Port range: 80-80
Remote host: EMPTY Local IP: 192.168.1.77 Connection: TCP/UDP Port range: 6036-6036
Can't search for recorded data. Why is this happening? Can you help?

I use a NVR as well, and the only possible way to access the previous recordings is through the Playback section as found on the main interface. When you click that section, there will be the possibility to look through the days when the software recorded.
There is no other way to access the recordings, except through the Playback button.
I want to control 400 stores along different provinces. Each store has a NVR on it, and four camera each NVR. Connection will be through DDNS. Can I manually create an account of all DDNS domains? What is the limit in the number of DDNS that I can create?

I've installed the application, but there is no information related to the maximum number of devices that can be added into the application. I've checked the Devices section in the app and it appears that it allows you to add as many as you need.
The connection can be made through DDNS, but you have to manually specify a PORT and assign a different port for each IP routed through the DDNS.
